These four advanced kata are often studied by higher level black belts. They include a wide variety of advanced techniques such as double flying kicks. The advanced kata are much longer than the lower level kata. So they are more difficult to learn and take longer to master. Kusanku is found in a number of different karate styles. It is the most advanced kata in Matsubayashi Ryu and is said to take ten years to master.

These videos are part of an advanced study project I took on as a Yondan and Renshi to video document the full set of 18 Matsubayashi Ryu kata.
